Advanta chairs are manufactured to stringent standards and the only maintenance generally required is to keep them clean. Any specific care instructions for upholstery coverings attached to the chair must be followed.
All maintenance work should be carried out by authorised Advanta repair agents.
FABRIC CARE:
DO NOT REMOVE ANY PART FOR SEPARATE CLEANING
REGULAR CARE:Protect from direct sunlight. Rotate reversible cushions regularly. Vacuum regularly using low suction and soft brush accessory.
GENERAL CLEANING:
HOT WATER EXTRACTION MACHINE METHOD -PROFESSIONAL CLEANING STRONGLY RECOMMENDED:Use only proprietary brandupholstery detergent. Do not use dishwashing or laundry detergents. Do not wet filling. For pile fabrics, gently vacuum to restore pile. Dry in shade away from direct heat and sunlight. Allow to dry thoroughly before re-use.

ON-SITE DRY CLEANING MACHINE METHOD PROFESSIONAL
CLEANING ONLY: Do not wet filling with solvent. Extract solvent thoroughly after application. Do not scrub with stiff brush. CAUTION:Exhaust solvent vapour outside building. Provide adequate ventilation during cleaning and drying. Allow to dry thoroughly before re-use. Avoid use of room during drying period.
OR
SHAMPOO METHOD: Use proprietary brand upholstery shampoo. Do not use dishwashing or laundry detergent. Do not wet filling. Do not scrub with stiff brush. For pile fabrics, gently vacuum to restore pile. Dry in shade and away from direct heat and sunlight. Allow to dry thoroughly before re-use.
SPOT CLEANING: Treat spills and stains as soon as possible. Gently scrape any soil or mop any liquid from the surface of the fabric. Do not scrub with a stiff brush. Apply proprietary cleaning agents strictly according to instructions. Test on inconspicuous area before use. Do not saturate the fabric or filling with water or other cleaning fluids. May be spot cleaned with dry cleaning solvent.
PLEASE NOTE:
Hard tyred castors are unsuitable for use on hard floors or firm chairmats in which case soft tyred castors should be used. Soft tyred castors are distinguishable by the tyre generally being a different colour to the body of the castor
